Hendrik obtained a Bcom degree (cum laude – 1996) and Honours degree in financial accounting (best student – 1997) from the University of Pretoria. He completed the academic requirements of the UK-based Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 2000 and was awarded membership in 2004.
Serving in diverse capacities, Hendrik has 25 years’ experience including roles such as Chief Executive Officer of Transwerk Foundries, Group Management Accountant of Scaw Metals, Financial Manager at Dimension Data, Lecturer at the University of Pretoria and Programme Manager at the Nova Institute. Since 2014, he practices his passion for decision-relevant information in the context of improving quality of life in low-income households with Nova.
He is married to Lizet, a musician. They have two children.
